It’s been a tremendous few months working on The Darkside 3. The Darkside chapter started in 2010 with the purpose of returning to my roots of hardcore hip hop and I remain relentless. Volume 1 of The Darkside project introduced banging singles like “(Ha Ha) Slow Down” featuring Young Jeezy which topped Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rap Songs chart after dropping. The first album alone topped 27 on the Billboard 200 featuring collaborations with Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Too Short and more. A classic for sure! The following year gave way to the second volume which brought on collabs with Dre, Jadakiss, French Montana and a few more amazing talents. Each new chapter of The Darkside journey proves to be a better and bigger as I always envisioned it. The Darkside 3 is no exception, introducing songs like DarkSide featuring Dre and many more hits.
When I started all this, I set out to give my fans a classic they can jam to for years to come and I believe I’ve done it but I couldn’t have made it happen without ya. My legacy is culmination of this. I just want to bring back real “BOOM BAP” hip hop!
Thank you to all the fans that have supported me and continue to do so. Love ya.
