T Harris , Philadelphia based Blues, Rock, Fusion, and electronica artist has enjoyed a long and fruitful career thus far. At present,his focus is "back to my roots", which is the Blues. Deeply influenced by many Blues artists from Muddy Waters to Buddy Guy, from Son House to Son Seals , from Howlin' Wolf to James Blood Ulmer....and never to be forgotten John Lee Hooker. Over the years he has travelled extensively, and had the honor to work with such Blues luminaries as John Lee Hooker, James Cotton, and Johnny Shines while living in California as a member of the Jerome Arnold Band ( original bassist with Paul Butterfield Blues band, and bassist on Bob Dylan's Hiway 61 album ). On a different note T was also a member of the R&B recording artists Direct Current, and later his own group Nightshaker. Somehow side tracked in the early 2000's T was producing and recording electronic dance tracks used for raves in eastern Europe. At present it's back to the Blues , and T is now looking forward to recording several new Blues originals written by himself, and songwriting partner Ted Lavoie. So look out for the re-emergence of T Harris as a solo artist , and also with his new band the T Harris Express.
