Michelle Barone has always loved music. At age six, she began taking professional voice lessons, dance classes, and performed leading roles in Community Theater. By age nine, she joined her church choir and school chorus. The following year she began writing songs, one of which won an award. In her early teens, she sang for school sporting events and had various roles in High School Theater. At age 15, Michelle's developing voice and songwriting abilities led her into the recording studio. She recorded with Lynn Gerb & Co., The Focolare Movement, and others. She worked closely with the Focolare Movement which gave her a chance to lead in concerts and plays. As Michelle began college, she signed with EParis Management. This association led to performances at BB Kings, airtime on local radio, studio recordings, and PR. Her desire for a career in a highly competitive field drove her to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Her goals became clearer as she met with several producers, managers, and vocal coaches. Ultimately, she focused her creative ideas through working with NADJARDON Productions, LIB Entertainment, and Ramello Haze Music Entertainment. Michelle started off making, "a five song demo and came out with a multiple song album." Michelle has now created two albums. Both albums feature Michelle as the lead and backup vocalist, songwriter, and co-producer. After the completion of Believe In Me, Michelle has opened for NE-YO at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, has had radio play on stations all across the northeast in both college and mainstream radio, she has also had the opportunity to perform at The Pyramid Club, has had press in local news papers, and has had her own album release party at the Chance Theater where over 700 people attended. Scope Magazine, The Kingston Daily Freedman, Mixmatters.com, and various other music publications have written reviews on Michelle's music. One review stated, "Michelle Barone "A Step Above the Rest." Michelle then created her dance album titled "Dramatica," which has given her even more publicity through the Internet. Her single O Na Na Na, has received airplay on several radio stations. The Poughkeepsie Journal states, "Kiss FM has been Playing Barone's single throughout the month." This track has become so popular that Michelle decided to create a music video for release on Youtube. Today, Michelle has truly become a Youtube sensation with over 1.5 million hits. Michelle is extremely determined, dedicated, and motivated to achieve her career goals in the music industry.
