Artist Bio: Since the early 1990s Rick Miller has been well recognized as the bandleader and guitar-swingin' frontman of one of the hottest, most exciting jump blues combos in all of New England, and a perennial favorite in rhythm & blues dance clubs and major music festivals in every corner of his home state, Maine. Rick's high energy style is instantly recognizable to music fans from Boston to Bangor, and his trademark big red guitars evoke the swinging style and class of "50s era Chicago, St. Louis, Texas, and L.A., when the big bands down-sized then hit the road in small, tight, combos to tour the country and electrify audiences in the post-war dance craze. Rick and his lineup of top notch players perform each year to crowds of fans at the annual "Maine Blues Festival" each June in Naples, ME, and recently performed two shows in their sixteenth consecutive engagement at the premier venue in the northeast, the "North Atlantic Blues Festival", held each July in Rockland, ME, with audiences of over twenty thousand.
