Jon & Cate Minus 8 features songwriters Catie Brandt and Jon Irizarry as they front their folk/soul duo. Together they write songs reminiscent of traditional folk but twisted with a hint of modern rock. Their first record, "Runaway Sun" off of Landbridge Records climbed to #5 on 91.3FM WTSR's Top 30 Albums of the Week. They have also played with national act's like Philadelphia's Good Old War.
