Beginning in 2010, the idea of starting a band formed while working at a local restaurant. While pouring beers and serving burgers, the boys discovered they shared passion for music. Determined to make a career change to something more meaningful, life-fulfilling, and influential to the world in a positive manner, the group brought open minds and instruments into a room. The Ghost was born.
After inception, Becoming The Ghost hit the live music scene, playing energetic and emotional live shows at venues like The Brighton Bar, Angels & Kings, Crossroads, and The Stanhope House. The band built a strong local fan base in the process, giving the audience an up close, personal experience. You can often find fans singing the lyrics back to the band at these shows.
Rather than creating limitations of a defined genre, the band blurs the lines of multiple genres, allowing for unique fusions of music to take shape. Each individual takes influence from rock, classical music, pop, jazz, and many more and let no limitations be set.
Currently, Becoming The Ghost is working on a new album and competing for a chance to open for Bon Jovi, Blink 182, The Foo Fighters, Incubus, Brand New, and more at the 2012 Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
